THE CELTIC WARRIOR
The Celts of Ireland and Central Europe were ferocious fighters. They did not depend much on the use of armor though as death was a celebrated and sought after event. Celts believed that by dying they would return to the earth again in a new and more powerful form.
As such, Celts often charged into battle naked with only swords and shields. Their howling and shrieking would instill panic in their enemies and their barbaric and ruthless manner of fighting would be devastating.
What little armor that was worn by later Celts included leather armor, splintmail, some forms of chainmail and captured helmets.
